To perform a software upgrade on a 328|MXE mixer a 32MByte or larger USBstick will be required, along with a USB port on the host computer.

328|MXE Mixer Software Upgrade

1. Download the new release.
2. Copy the downloaded zip file to the root directory on the USBstick. Do not unzip the file.
3. Insert the USBstick into one of the USB ports on the rear of the 328|MXE control panel.
4. Cycle to the USB menu on the System Menu tree. The software upgrade file will be detected and a software upgrade prompt will be displayed. Select Yes to begin the upgrade.
5. When the upgrade is complete, the mixer will reboot. It is OK (but not required) to remove the USBstick at that time.

Once the software upgrade process begins it can only be stopped by pressing the STOP! soft button.

Do not remove the USB memory device while the software upgrade is being performed or permanent damage may occur to the USB memory device.
